Application information
We're looking for courageous leaders – those who are leading their churches
in bringing hope to men, women, and children whose lives have been ravaged
by the terrible effects of the AIDS pandemic. None of us can fully comprehend
or completely address the full scope of the AIDS pandemic, but we can each
do our part. It's our firm belief that every church can and should do something
to engage this crisis, and we know that significant contributions are already
being made by courageous leaders and their congregations. Are you one of
those leaders? Is your pastor one of those leaders? Efforts from all churches
will be considered, regardless of congregation size or scope of budget.
Award recipients will be judged on the basis of how the church strategically,
intentionally, and creatively leveraged their unique God-given vision,
gifts, and resources to address the AIDS issue.
The world needs courageous leaders to step to the plate and make their mark in history by engaging the greatest humanitarian crisis in the world today. The Courageous Leadership Award will honor those who are making such efforts through a local church-the only entity on Earth which carries with it the redemptive and life-changing message of hope in Jesus Christ.
